Mieze Schindler Strawberry
This strawberry was cultivated in the 1920s by Otto Schindler and is similar in taste to the very flavorful wild strawberry. Schindler named the highly aromatic variety after his wife, Mieze, who especially loved to eat this fruit.
The aroma and flavor of this specialty are distinctly reminiscent of strawberry preserves made from vine-ripened fruit. The strawberries for this schnapps are grown in Southern Germany.
Our Mieze Schindler Strawberry is made with a method used for spirit production. This involves months of maceration of the perfectly ripened berries in neutral alcohol, and subsequent distillation of the mixture.
The 35% alcohol content allows optimal development of the aromas and conserves them longer.
We use only natural fruit for our products. They contain no artificial flavors or colorings.
