Apricot

The Hungarian Best variety apricots for this schnapps are harvested directly from Hungary’s beautiful Lake Balaton region. The wonderfully juicy fruits in the orchards there are still hand-picked and then gently processed. This preserves the individual aromatic and very sweet taste. The nose also detects acacia honey, floral notes and a bit of brioche. In the mouth, the flavor is full-bodied – but never heavy-handed.

The basis of this process is mash fermentation before the mash is distilled. The mash itself already contains an alcohol content of about 3-4% prior to distilling. This process is ideal for fruits that are rich in sugar, such as stone fruits like apples, plums, cherries or apricots.

We use only the pure fruit, no artificial flavors or colorings.
