The nose also detects acacia honey, floral notes and a bit of brioche. In the mouth, the flavor is full-bodied – but never heavy-handed.
The basis of this process is mash fermentation before the mash is distilled. The mash itself already contains an alcohol content of about 3-4% prior to distilling. This process is ideal for fruits that are rich in sugar, such as stone fruits like apples, plums, cherries or apricots.
