Yes, we like things with a touch of the exotic too!

And we love the sea, palm trees and dates!

The dates used in our date schnapps come from the beautiful Alicante/Elche region in Spain!

That’s where Europe’s only date farm is located.

We use two varieties of dates in our spirit: one is particularly aromatic, the other very sweet.

The dates are of excellent quality, which is naturally evident in the distillate.

The sweetness of the dates is accompanied by a subtle marzipan scent (which comes from the stones) and aromas of coconut blossom sugar.

Sweet on the nose but by no means on the palate; it is also very smooth, as you would expect from our schnapps.

A dream come true in schnapps, and not just for date lovers.

Which animal is hiding on the label?

A gecko, fitting for Alicante.

Incidentally, geckos are nocturnal, which also suits Fräulein Brösel und Schnaps rather well.

We macerate the dates in neutral alcohol for several months and then distil the mixture.

The alcohol content is 38%, but the spirit is by no means harsh, as we reduce the sharpness through prolonged ageing following distillation.

We use only the pure fruit, with no artificial flavours or colourings.
